Donald J. Charnetski, PC
Donald J. Charnetski was born in Canada and grew up in Toronto. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison on a hockey scholarship and received his Bachelor’s Degree there in 1971. He later attended law school at the University of Iowa, graduating with distinction in 1975. While attending law school, Don served as chairman of the Moot Court Board from 1974 to 1975 and published “The Lesser Included Offense Doctrine in Iowa: The Gordian Knot Untied” in the Iowa Law Review. Don lives in Grinnell with his wife, the flutist Claudia Anderson, who is a faculty member at Grinnell College.
Don joined the Grinnell law firm of Tomasek & Vogel in 1975 and began his general practice of law. Don now devotes most of his time to litigation, business law, trusts and estates, wills and probate law.
