Thomas A. Lacina, PC

 

Tom Lacina is a native of Grinnell. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wichita State University in 1979 and a Master of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Juris Doctorate degree with Distinction from the University of Iowa in 1983. Tom clerked for Justice Mark McCormick with the Iowa Supreme Court and the Honorable Harold D. Vietor, Chief Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa.

 

Tom returned to Grinnell to practice law in 1986.  He maintains a general practice composed primarily of business law, business transactions, real estate and estate planning.  He also serves as outside general counsel in the food industry to Pulmuone USA and its subsidiaries. Tom is admitted to practice law only in Iowa.

 

In addition to practicing law, Tom is engaged in farm management and arts programming in the Grinnell area. Tom is past president of Grinnell Area Arts Council, St. Francis Manor Foundation, Grinnell Community Theatre and Grinnell 2000 (Imagine Grinnell).
